BREAKING NEWS: Two new DS Lite bundles will be available on Black Friday, November 28, 2008. Each will sell for $150 and come with a popular DS title. The Mario Red DS Lite will come with New Super Mario Bros. and the Ice Blue DS Lite comes with a carrying case and Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day. If you go to http://mariowishlist.varitalk.com/, you can get Mario to call or email someone you know and tell them about 3 Nintendo DS games you want, like Animal Crossing: Wild World, Kirby Super Star Ultra and New Super Mario Bros. and what color DS Lite you want. Mario is a very busy plumber so he can only call a phone number before 9pm, but emails are always available. The recipient just clicks a link and Mario tells them exactly what you want for Christmas (or any other holiday, depending on what you tell Mario). Limited to DS games, unfortunately. I already tried a phone call, but it was too late. I’ll try again tomorrow.
At http://giftcenter.nintendo.com/, you can choose up to 4 games and 2 DS Lite systems and have a wish list sent to someone you know through email. Like the Mario voice message above, this is limited to DS games and systems, which is weird since I’m sure Nintendo wants people to buy Wiis over the holiday season, but it’s not my decision.
